from ABB Inc for Graphical Data Engineering Services
Network Manager™ provides an advanced data engineering environment. The data engineering toolkit incorporates a standardized way of representing a wide variety of physical and abstract objects related to the operation of an electric utility. The environment uses the CIM - Common Information Model (IEC 61970) as an import/export interface. The Data Engineering also includes a graphical editing environment, which allows the user to interact with the network model via substation one-line diagrams.
Data Engineering Features:
PED500 is a Windows-based picture editor for the Network Manager environment that supports both the WS500 Operator Workstation and IS500 Information Station picture formats. The PED500 works together with the Data Engineering tool to deliver an easy-to-use data engineering and display building solution.
PED500 Features:
Network Manager SCADA/EMS provides a complete set of advanced power system application functions, all field proven under a wide variety of conditions. The transmission network analysis package includes functions for the optimal operation of the power system with respect to security, quality and economy.
The transmission network analysis comprises a number of modules, each of which can be installed independent from other modules. The transmission applications include modeling of high voltage networks and calculations for various activities such as decision support, network monitoring, security assessment and operation enhancement.
Network Manager SCADA/EMS benefits include:
