Commonwealth’s GIS staff specializes in providing a suite of GIS services to support all aspects of planning efforts and decision making for the energy industry and other projects, small or large. Our cartographers can support specific project components, inventory of company resources, public meetings, training, and studies by using demographic, business, agriculture, hydrology, land use, soils, engineering drawings, and many other data sources to create a wide range of maps and graphics for public meetings, reports, and permit applications. They are able to blend the technologies of digital mapping from a variety of sources, including satellite images, aerial photographs, topographic maps, GPS field data, and existing maps leading to GIS database creation.
