Description
This is an economical solution for shunt reactive compensation on overhead distribution networks. Available as a fixed systems that are preferred in networks with constant loading or switched system that are more suited toward networks with variable loading. The Qpole is factory assembled in a galvanized steel frame, which is suitable for pole mounting.

- The fixed and switched system utilizes ABB single phase capacitors arranged in grounded Y, ungrounded Y or delta configurations. Three phase capacitors are also available. All high voltage wiring and outdoor bushing terminals are provided with bird-guards. Suitable for use in networks up to 24kV ungrounded.
